Elizabeth Lou is the CEO of Spiritual Intervention Ministries. She is a former New American who came to the United States as a refugee in 1999. She settled in San Diego, California, and drew from resources in both her personal background and profession as a community organizer to found the Nile Sisters Development Initiative in 2001. In 2019, she founded the Spiritual Intervention Ministries to address the unique challenges that many African immigrants and refugees face.
