About Spiritual Intervention Ministries
Who We Are
Spiritual Intervention Ministries was founded by Elizabeth Lou, CEO, in 2019 when she witnessed many displaced new Americans and immigrants struggle with trauma, cultural shock, and loneliness. After research, she found there were few to no organizations that could adequately address the spiritual aspects of the new Americans. As a Christian, she felt called to address some of the most fundamental challenges that displaced experience daily. Her response was to begin Revival Groups bible study group (RG) to provide a spiritual and emotional support to the community accompanied by social services that are necessary and much needed.
Our Mission
Our mission is to bring the message and healing of Christ to the children of God through social, emotional, and spiritual support. We believe that by fostering a deep understanding of scripture, prayer, and worship, we can help our Christians everywhere develop a closer relationship with God. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to become compassionate and faithful individuals who make a positive impact in the world.
What We Do
Spiritual Intervention Ministries (SIM) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization
dedicated to helping new Americans across the nation to navigate the
complexities of identity and personal hardship through a spiritual approach. SIM combines the religious, social, and emotional aspects of wellness. In small groups centered around bible study, SIM is fostering a community where first generation and new Americans have a safe place to discuss their concerns and issues causing them feel depressed, stressed, and anxious’. The group gives emotional support to families who are impacted by social issues such as domestic violence, cultural shock, diseases such as COVID-19. Ultimately, SIM aims to build Christian community in the neighborhood and across the nation that is tied with love, understanding, and extending a helping hand.
